#66 Lady Liberty

Ever since I saw the Statue of Liberty MnM dispenser at Kat's house I have wanted one.
I even named it Lady Liberty...and the name has stuck :D
I tried to buy one on the internet...but I was having trouble doing it, being in Australia and all. I was going to have to call up and the time difference makes that difficult most times.
Thankfully my friend Kat went to the states and being the best friend that she is she bought me one :D

I am yet to name my own...

Now I just need to get some more MnM's!

#4 Japan....an amazing adventure

I wasn't sure if I would get this one marked off in time.
Thankfully I was able to go and get 2 units towards my degree! BONUS! :D

Japan was an amazing adventure.

I've learnt a lot...not just about the language but about myself.

If you want to read some of the adventures you can click here

#21 Called...and it's done

Calling my parents every week definitely wasn't a chore, but an excuse to call them regularly and keep in contact.

I even made a little table that was stuck to the back of my door so I would remember to do it.

52 weeks, of definitely more than 52 phone calls :D

What can I say?? I love my family and love hearing from them!

A little change to #48

I've had to slightly change the amount of rice to donate on freerice.com

101 million was just way too many!
Doing the calculations I would need to do it for way too long each day.

So i have downsized to 101 thousand instead.

Still going to be a lot but much more achievable

#49 Plant a Tree

Or in my case, 5 of them...

Today the YSA from my stake had a service project to help out Coast Care.
Some of us planted trees while others moved rocks to pave a path.

I worked with Libby most of the day and we decided (ok, it was pretty much me that decided) that we should name each of them.

They were:

- George
- Alfie
-Phil & Lil...the twins :D and
- Jaffer

Oh and  did I mention that the weather was pretty crappy and I spent a good deal of the day wet??
Service is so fun huh :D

#78 - Go to an art museum

Today Jess & I went to MONA...
While I have wanted to go to a museum for a while, I've been torn whether to go to this one or not.

Good thing it was free!

Over all it was ok, but there were only a few things that were really cool in my opinion.

We all need to try new things though huh :D

A few of the exhibits I liked :

All singing karaoke individually with head phones in :D
Funny as!

Random and would have been so much fun!

Really bright...but cool

Shadow puppets...big scale!
Can you spot me?

#42 Write a letter to my 25 year old self

It's actually a really interesting experience to write a letter to yourself for 5 years in the future.
I had to think about the things I would want to be doing by then, the person I want to be and other general things about myself.

It is kinda cool and very productive as it gives me some things to look forward to and work towards.

I will open the letter again on y 25th birthday...

As I get older birthday's seem like they are forever away, but they come quicker and quicker.

Now to just enjoy being young for a bit!! :D

#16 Another missionary

So while reading through my list today I realised that I can mark off another one...love when that happens!

I have talked to Elle about her mission heaps of times. She served in Finland...amazing!
I asked her a lot of questions about her mission but also why she decided to go.

I've thought about serving a mission before so I had a lot of questions...

She had some interesting experiences and difficult times. But everyone does. That's just part of life.
It's also really cool to hear her bear her testimony in Finnish :D

Either way, I completed this...like last year...

#58 Writing to Kat

While Kat was away on her mission I tried to write to her as often as possible.
I did manage to send her a package every 6 months she was out.
I lost account of all the letters I sent. But I'm pretty sure it was at least 25.

I used to get so excited when I would receive a reply back.

Not sure exactly when this was completed so I'm going to count it as when she got home.
