#75 D&M with a friend

I often have "Deep and Meaningful" conversations with close friends but it had been ages since I had seen my friend Jess Wheeler and had a really good chat. You see this wonderful girl got married and then had a little less time for her friend Lisa here (TOTALLY understandable :D).
This is Jess and I below:
Her and hubby came down for another friend's birthday and it was a perfect opportunity to catch up. The funny thing too was that the jacket I'm wearing is the one that she had been looking at buying not long before this photo was taken :P Great minds think alike :D

#86 Completed

My friend Jacinta informed me today that I had already completed #86 earlier this year on a road trip home. When she brought it up, I remembered thinking that I hadn't completed it. But alas, she is adamet that I did so Boo YEAH!

Thanks Cinta for helping me to mark another goal off without even remembering :D Aren't friends the best?!

This goal was completed early 2010.

#36 - Go to the movies by myself

So I went and saw this:

I must say it is the weirdest thing going to the movies on my own. I NEVER do it! But...it was a goal so I toughened up and did it. A few times I went to talk to someone next to me (usually my friend) and say how I liked this or that and then remembered that nobody was next to me. SOOOO weird.

Although it was weird and I didn't particularly like it, I'm glad I went on my own because it was good too. I was able to just enjoy the movie and not be interrupted. Plus it meant that I could see what I wanted, when I wanted.

All in all it was an interesting experience. Not one that I think I will do too often. I like having someone there next to me to experience it with :D

This goal was completed on the 6th July 2010.

#26 and #28 complete

You might remember a while ago I attempt this and this at the same time...

Well...I completed them both! :D Olan didn't manage to finish either but she gave it a good crack!

It was really hard sometimes but I did it and I'm glad :D

I'm thinking that I may even go back to only drinking water for a while. I think my body needs a little detox or something. Plus the good old H2O is good for your body :D

Have you ever tried to do anything like this before? If so, let me know!

#1 Go back to the US

It had been 7 years since I had been to the States and I was really glad that I had the opportunity to go back. I got to see some people I hadn't seen in a very long time! It was great to catch up with people and also to meet a whole bunch of new people. I hope I can go back to the states again soon. I would love to do a roadtrip across the states sometime. That would be heaps of fun! :D

#2 Go to Canada

I've wanted to go to Canada for a while now and had the opportunity in January to go while I was in the Northern hemisphere. Was only in Canada for a couple days, but I did get to spend my birthday there :D Was snowing and everything! :D I love snow! Though it was really cold!!

#13 National YSA Convention 2009

Tassie YSA are the best!!
This is a group shot of all the Tassie YSA...some are honorary members

So for those that don't know, a YSA (Young Single Adults) convention is where a group of people 18-30yrs from my church get together to have fun activities as well as spiritual/uplifting activities. Being a National convention it was fairly big. Usually they are held in smaller groups, often in the capital cities of most states in Aus. It was a really good experience, but having so many people meant that you could meet someone one day and then never see them again...unless you were particularly looking for them....

This goal was completed 31/12/09

Looking forward to convention this year because my sister is coming this year :D

#76 Meet 2 people in real life...

This is Landon. He was one of my brother's mission companions and let's face it he's a good lookin fella. This is what happens when he took my camera. I met him for the first time when I went to Canada in January this year.

These cute as people are the family of a missionary who served near where I live. My mum became good friends with his Mum so I visited them while I was in Utah. They were so good to me :D

2 people I had only talked to on the internet and I met them in Jan/Feb this year.

#77 Makala's Europe/Us trip

My friend Makala and her friend D'arne went for a trip around Europe and also to the United States. I was so jealous when she told me what she had planned. Oh how I have longed to go to Europe! Definitely a big dream of mine.

So one Sunday after church I went around to her house and got to listen to her tell me ALL about it, no details spared!! I wanted to know everything. Luckily for me, she was willing to comply. It was an awesome afternoon and I loved seeing all the pictures that she took. I'm so glad that I finally got around to talking to her about it.

I look forward to having my own big adventures some day. Oh the possibilities.

I completed this goal in November 2009.

#17 Complete my Personal Progress

In my church there is a program called Young Womens for girls aged 12-18. While you are in this age group you have the opportunity to complete a program that is called Personal Progress. There are a range of activities that correspond to values that we strive to live. I took a little longer to complete mine but I got it done before it was too late.

Doing this program helped me to learn more about myself, my Saviour and my Father in Heaven. I am so grateful that I was able to participate in so many different activities and to finally complete it. The necklace you get at the end is also really pretty. I love that it has one of our temples on it.
I completed this goal on the 17th January 2010.

#91 Talk to a Complete Stranger

This is such a stalker shot but I had to get a photo of this guy

He was most definitely one of a kind. Funny story is that he randomly asked me to watch his things in the Sydney airport while he went out to the bathroom (I must just look trusting). Then he started talking to me and was a little more, shall we say unique, than most people I have met before. It just so happened that he was also assigned to sit next to me on the flight so we talked more then. Let's just say that it was a very interesting flight to L.A. Definitely one I will never forget.

I completed this goal on 19th January 2010.

#98 Create this blog

Not that I really need to point out that I created this blog as you are currently viewing it, but I did say that I would post something about each thing I complete on my list...so for technicalities sake...

I created this blog... :D
